Sidney Haller, MPH

Sidney Carrillo Haller is Assistant Director of Research Operations for the CPR-CC and provides operational and administrative leadership for the Center. Sidney also serves as Program Manager for Dr. Carolyn Calfee’s research group supporting studies focused on ARDS and sepsis. She leads the development of research systems, infrastructure, and team processes that enable complex studies to move efficiently from concept to execution.

Sidney brings over 10 years of experience managing research, from public health studies in resource-limited field settings to multidisciplinary clinical research at UCSF. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she led operations for the COMET Consortium, coordinating teams across multiple departments and navigating rapidly evolving scientific, regulatory, and logistical demands. She has a Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University in Epidemiology and Global Health.

She is committed to advancing inclusive, impactful research that improves outcomes for all patients.
