Matt Zinter, MD

Matt Zinter is an Associate Professor in Residence of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He is an Attending Physician in the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Director of the Pediatric Immunocompromised Critical Care Program. Dr. Zinter runs a translational laboratory focused on pathobiology of lung injury in children. He also co-leads the Pediatric Critical Care Clinical Research Group, which facilitates enrollment in over 15 clinical trials and observational studies encompassing sepsis, acute lung injury, acute kidney injury, immune dysfunction, and cardiac arrest in children.
