Dr. Carolyn Hendrickson is an Associate Professor of Medicine at UCSF and Medical Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. She serves as site lead for multicenter observational studies and clinical trials in sepsis, ARDS, and COVID-19, and has specific expertise in pulse oximeter performance and diagnostic equity. Dr. Hendrickson is deeply committed to expanding access to clinical research for patients at safety-net hospitals, with a focus on including communities historically underrepresented in prospective studies.
